This book is out of print

Oracle Web Applications 101To help you get started with Oracle Web applications, I wrote Oracle Web Applications 101. It was published by Oracle Press in May 2001, but has since gone out of print. Oracle Press have promised to make it available as an eBook, but I’m not holding my breath…

You can often find a used copy at amazon.com (or amazon.co.uk or amazon.de). If you’re just dying to lay your hands on a mint condition, signed copy, I have a few left in the basement. If you send me a mail, I’ll put one up on eBay for $9.99 + shipping.

You can still download the samples.zip file containing all the code samples and associated files, or you can download just individual chapters: Chapter 2, Chapter 4, Chapter 5, Chapter 6, or Chapter 7.

The examples are identical to the illustrations in the book, except that all HTML code is valid XHTML 1.0, i.e. it contains extra header information. In addition, the code examples here are complete, whereas the listings in the book occasionally leave out material, marked with a [snip] tag.

If there is any discrepancy between the text in the book and the listings in these files, the files are the final word. The files have all been compiled and the HTML has been checked with the validation service of the World Wide Web Consortium.

If you find any errors or omissions in these files, you are welcome to send me an e-mail.

You can also still download the two small conversion tools (html2java and htm2plsql).
